Charity Casino Nights & Fundraisers

A fun casino is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to raise money for a good cause. Guests have a brilliant night, and your charity gets a boost.

How a charity casino night raises money

Schools, PTAs, sports clubs, Rotary and Round Table groups, and charities all use casino nights to raise funds. The most common approach is simple:

  1. Sell tickets for the evening, often including dinner or a drink.
  2. Give every guest fun money to play with when they arrive.
  3. Play the tables with our croupiers running roulette, blackjack and poker.
  4. Award donated prizes to the guests with the biggest chip stacks at the end.

You can also run a raffle, auction or “sponsor a table” scheme alongside the casino to boost your total.

Staying within the rules. Fundraising casino nights are covered by the Gambling Act 2005 rules on non-commercial gaming: fun money must have no cash value and the money raised must go to the good cause. It’s worth reading the Gambling Commission’s guidance on fundraising events, and we’re happy to explain how other organisers set up their evenings.
